First, explore this treasure house of ancient Egyptian history, home to priceless artifacts and ancient treasures spanning millennia of civilization. Its galleries bring together delicate Old Kingdom statuary, gilded royal furniture, painted sarcophagi, and monumental sculpture, offering an essential introduction to the wonders of ancient Egypt.

Great Pyramid of Khufu
Next, marvel at this masterpiece, built from 2.6 million limestone blocks by approximately 30,000 workers. It held the title of the tallest man-made structure on earth for nearly 4,000 years, and its scale is best appreciated standing right at its base.

Pyramid of Khafre
Visit this pyramid, standing 136 meters tall and appearing even taller thanks to its position on higher ground. Look closely near the summit and you can still spot fragments of the original polished limestone casing that once covered the entire structure.

Pyramid of Menkaure

Day 8: Cairo – Saqqara, Memphis & Dahshur

Saqqara
First, explore the principal necropolis of ancient Memphis, used from 3100 BC through 540 AD, making it one of the longest continuously used burial grounds in Egyptian history. Witness King Djoser’s revolutionary Step Pyramid, recognized as Egypt’s first monumental stone structure, designed by the architect Imhotep and standing as the ancestor of every pyramid that followed. Visit beautifully decorated tombs nearby, where vivid carved reliefs depict scenes of farming, hunting, fishing, and daily life.

Memphis
Next, discover Egypt’s first capital, founded around 3100 BC by King Narmer, once the political and religious heart of the unified kingdom. Marvel at the colossal 12-meter statue of Ramses II, weighing 80 tons and carved in fine limestone, alongside the magnificent 18th Dynasty alabaster sphinx, measuring 7 meters long.

Dahshur
Conclude at this royal necropolis, home to the Bent and Red Pyramids, both built by King Sneferu of the 4th Dynasty. These two pyramids mark crucial steps in the evolution of pyramid design, the Bent Pyramid, with its distinctive change in angle partway up, and the Red Pyramid, widely regarded as Egypt’s first successful true smooth-sided pyramid, a direct precursor to the Great Pyramid at Giza.

Prices are in US dollars per person per trip and you can pay in any other currency.
Rates are subject to change in case of any changes in airport taxes, hotel rates, transport rates, or government taxes.
Rates are not valid during Christmas or New Year.
Travel insurance and entry visa charges are not included in the package.

The customer receives a confirmation voucher via email within 24 hours of successful booking.
We are offering a low down payment of just 25% to secure your spaces on tour, including hotel rooms, cruise cabins, domestic flight tickets, and other travel-related services. The remaining balance can be paid up to two days before your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your tour manager, making you’re booking a risk-free investment.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation after confirmation with payment before 30 days of the commencement of the tour: 10% of the value of the tour package.
Canceling the tour 30 to 20 days before commencement of the tour: 25% of the value of the package
Canceling 19-15 days before commencing the tour: 50% of the tour cost
Canceling 14-11 days before commencement of the tour: 75% of the tour cost
Canceling before 10 days or less before the tour date: No refund for the tour

Up to 2 years: FREE
Age from 2 and below 6 years: 25% of adult price
Age from 6 up to 11 years: 50% of adult price
